I was recently invited by Sweaty Betty Beaconsfield to teach a Barre Body Blitz class as part of their Get Fit For Free programme of classes. The challenge was creating a Barre workout without a Barre. Thus was born Barre-Flow, an intense, deep muscle workout combining dynamic postural movements and isometric holds inspired by Ballet Barre, Tai Chi and Yoga.
As we went for the burn and shake, this workout really tested the balance and focus of all the Barre-Betties. It was such a tough workout but lots of fun with all the energy and enthusiasm in the room. Thanks to Sweaty Betty for giving me the opportunity to share my love for Barre and what better place to do so than surrounded by my favourite brand!
