Cacao and Coconut Love Balls

Take the edge off a sugar craving with these indulgent, yet healthy cacao and coconut balls. They only take 10 minutes to make - no cooking required - and are so yummy, be sure not to eat them all in one go!

Ingredients

1 cup shredded/dessicated non-sweetened coconut (plus a little extra for dusting)

¼ cup virgin coconut oil melted (but not overheated)

3 tbsp cacao powder / cocoa powder will do

3 tbsp maple syrup

½ tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp milled flax

1/3 cup (or just under) almonds ground to powder

Method

1. Mix ingredients thoroughly

2. Mould into small balls and roll in the extra coconut to coat

3.) Refrigerate overnight

They'll keep in an airtight container, refrigerated for a week or two.
